Monday

No more purchases until next month!

Haha, that is a rule I'm having to stick by now, seeing as my bank account is feeling the strain! BUT, I bought these two lovelys from Topshop to carry me over into next month;

Grey Quilted Jersey Shorts - Shorts - Clothing - Topshop

These, because they remind me of an outfit a favourite blogger of mine, Candy at http://www.comeovertothedarksidewehavecandy.com/ did, (seriously, look her up, she's fabulous, and so nice!), where she teamed it with a black or white shirt, a black blazer and some killer heels and accessories. She is a huge influence of mine, and I use her looks to inspire more budgetted versions of my own.

Leather Look Skinny Trousers - Topshop

These, so I can copy the many famously cool looks of Kate Moss, along with the picture below of the girl in leather trousers :) Has such a cool autumnal feel!
Excited for these!

Also, sorry about the link format guys, I'm still figuring it all out!
Looking forward to your comments guys,
Love Chloe XxXxXxX

Friday

How do, all.

Hello guys! Here is my latest online indulgence!

I think they're great, and I can't wait for them to get here. I think They'll carry me through winter with chunky heels and knits just perfectly. I love the leather deatailing too.
So this post is basically a chit chat post to ramble a little bit about what is on my mind. Firstly, coming of the beaten track of style for just a moment, how amazing is the story of the Chilean miners? I honestly think it's a heart- warming nod toward the primitive pleasure of humans and the joy we get from little things. It feels so good to be humbled and realise how privellaged we are, even when we don't realise it.

Secondly, I wanted to share these pictures of looks I found on Lookbook that I loved; I REALLY have to invest in some leather trousers after I saw this look!

I'll be copying ALL of these looks...well, after I get paid, that is :)
By the way, I'm looking for inspiration from you guys to find out what you want me to do, whether it's reviews, outfit posts, questions tags or videos, comment me with some suggestions so I can keep YOU GUYS (the most important people) happy.
Let me know!
Love, Chloe XxXxXxX

Wednesday

Hey ho.

Hello again fellow blog- meisters.
I bring for you a few more pictures of recent purchases! The first is THIS GILET which I bought for £25 from good old Matalan, it's not a frequent shopping place of mine but I saw this on the internet and had to have it. It is faux 'owl fur' ("BUT OWLS DON'T HAVE FUR!", I hear you cry!No, they don't, but that's what it's called, for some reason or another) and it has a gigantic furry hood which I love. I'm going to wait until it gets abit colder before this beauty makes it's debut.

Here is my second purchase, some more shoes! These beautiful wedges were a little more pricey than I would have liked at £40, but I truly am in love with them. I have a feeling they will make me way too tall to wear out with my boyfriend, but they were well worth it.

Black wedge heel shoe boots - Dorothy Perkins

Another Dorothy Perkins purchase was a pretty hefty £65, and the picture doesn't really do it justice. It's my beautiful faux fur hooded duffle coat, and with the cold setting in, I thought I'd better invest.

Black fur trim toggle coat - Coats - Clothing - Dorothy Perkins

Last but not least is one for the make- up lovers out there, one of my favourite lines, especially for A/W, is FrontCover. This whole set was only £16 in a promotion from Boots, down from £34! I thought it was quite a steal. Go check it out whilst the offer lasts! The two looks I've zoomed in on are my favourites :)

That's all for now, all. Until next time, cheerio, love Chloe. X

Sunday

Hello guys! To make up for the lack of posts on Friday, here is a few of my newest goodies! My two beautiful identical Muubaa leather jackets! Bought on eBay for a really sweet price. They are just so great. Also, because of the cowl neckline, instead of forking out for a new jacket to play with the shearling trend, I'm going to buy a swiathe of shearling and a piece of faux fur and lay them in the neckline to give the impression of a shearling/ fur- lined coat! A great way to update your wardrobe this A/W. The shorts I'm putting away for next summer, they are vintage distressed and were given to me by my aunt! Can't wait to play with these babies next summer. The shoes are my latest indulgence from Dorothy Perkins, and I honestly couldn't leave them at £20 down from £40! Speak soon guys, Chloe. X

Tuesday

Slap my wrists.

Deary me, I've been negligent recently! I'm so apologetic over my severe lack of posts! In truth, I had a bit of a change of heart, seeing so many amazing blogs, I reckoned mine could never compare, especially as I'm still waiting on taking some outfit pictures. But I figure why should I treat it as some competition, I enjoy blogging, so I should just do my thing and get on with it. I figure the next post after his one will be an outfit post on Friday! Haha, finally.
Anyway, I was tagged in this 'answer a series of questions' things, so I figure I'll do it, just as a bit more of an introduction.

1.What is your favourite magazine?
Fashionwise, I enjoy Harper's Bazaar, I find it a bit more edgy and inspiring than Vogue, it tends to feature more of my favourite designers like Balmain and Chloe.
I'm very partial to music updates from NME and Kerrang! though.

2. Who is your favourite singer/band?
Nirvana (hence the blog title), Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Marcy Playground, all that sort of dirt rock sound, and also some dark acoustic or rock such as Aska, Bon Iver and Girls.

3. Who is your favourite youtube guru/s?
I don't really subscribe to any, and the ones I am subscribed to, I don't remember the names. There is a cute couple I'm subscribed to because I love the place they live in and I want to know where it is, haha.

4. What is your favourite makeup product?
I don't wear foundation, so I have a 'Tinted Glow Enhancer' that I use as foundation for special occasions from Boots, which I love. It's light, has a 'barely there' texture and really works wonders. I couldn't live without black eye liners and mascara, although I don't really care where they're from. No7 and Mac are probably my favourite makes.

5. If you had 3 wishes what would you wish for?
Difficult. I like that we don't get what we wish for all the time as it means that we work for it and it makes it more worthwile. But I'd love a great private old house for me and my boyfriend, a comfortable wage in a job I enjoy and to see the world.

6. Where would you like to live?
Somewhere in the Netherlands (yes it's cold, but I enjoy wrapping up!)or Seattle or SOMEWHERE similar in America.

7. What is your favourite film?
I love Amelie, Kill Bill, Inglorious Basterds, Pulp Fiction and Lucky Number Slevin.

8. How many pairs of shoes do you own?
I'd say about 27.

9. What do you buy most when shopping?
I buy alot of everything. I need to slow down my spending. I'm probably most partial to leather and dark clothes.

10. What is your favourite colour?
I can't name one! Hah. Black, white, silver, navy blue, grey, musky colours.

11. What is your most treasured possession/s?
The boyfriend :) and my iPhone!

12. If you got stuck on a desert island what 3 things would you take?
Boyfriend,an endless supply of tea and toast with peanut butter to eat by the fire. I don't think I'd ever want to leave!

Copy this and do it if you like, and don't forget to tell me to read yours!
Talk on Friday!
Chloe.

Friday

I've been very bad...

...firstly because I've not posted in a while! Very sorry, guys, been working A- Lot! And secondly, because I've made the lovely people at Muubaa put me a beautiful black lambs leather jacket aside, costing about £115. Along with the beautiful Muubaa grey leather jacket that will be with me on Tuesday... to be fair, this one was only £44 off eBay, and to say it's brand new, it's such a bargain. I'll put more pictures up soon!
Chloe.
